Product Overview
Step-by-step, the Rake Brush for Dogs, Doodles & Poodles - Mat Remover addresses household use needs through reliable engineering and practical use. measuring 7.48 x 2.56 x 1.34 inches; 4.66 ounces. Notable features include use together and complete rescue, contributing to its practical character.
Key Features
- Use together for the complete Rescue. Apply Emergency Dematter cream, massage into mat, wait 2 minutes, then use this rake brush to work through softened mats.
- Wrong way: trying to brush through dry mats, pulling at the hair with a brush and no emergency dematter cream, starting at the skin with the brush (causes pulling and therefore pain, risks shaving). Right way: apply cream generously until the mat is wet, massage it into the mat, wait 2 minutes for it to penetrate, hold the mat at the skin to avoid pulling, brush outside-in with short, gentle strokes.
- Glides through tangles without pulling, so your dog stays relaxed during brush time. Less wrestling, more bonding — and a coat your groomer will compliment at your next visit.
- Wide-spaced, rounded teeth protect sensitive skin — unlike a harsh mat splitter that cuts and shreds. Designed specifically for thick coats, double coats, and curly doodle fur. For many doodle parents, "dematting is a thing of the past."
- Your groomer will thank you for showing up with a dog that's been maintained at home. This deshedding, mat-rescue essential prevents mats before they form, so your groomer can focus on the perfect cut.
- SHARP TEETH, SO CLEAR THE HAIR WITH CARE. The stainless teeth are serrated so they can work through a thick mat, which also means they are sharp to the touch. Use a cloth or the edge of another brush to pull hair out of the comb, not your fingertips. Adult use only. Keep out of reach of children.
